We have organized this event to serve a selection of vegan, vegetarian and more importantly seafood/Japanese cuisine. Dishes include Nigiri’s, Sashimi’s, tempura apps, rolls, a hot pot of my dad and grandmas favorite's pastime a hot pot of sukiyaki don (beef marinated with veggies) . All mentioned above has been taken care of by us( its on the house! )
To help support Doraku and its employees on such a generous event drinks and extra food/special requests will be charged and tips are encouraged.

I have a profound appreciation for well crafted and meticulously prepared ingredients especially with Japanese cuisine. Me and family have religiously been going to this restaurant since we moved to Nova Scotia over 10 years ago. As much as a celebration its for me I truly want to celebrate and thank you for being a supportive and ever caring group of people who have been with us and supported us through and through. Finally, A toast to my dad (who’s birthday is the day after mine) and my grandmother who have both passed away recently, both of them being foodies and who both could make excellent sukiyaki! We also would like to remember the recently passed Chef and Owner of this establishment Shuji Manabe who really prioritized an excellent experience to his guests and finally big thanks to Erika Tokuyama and her team for continuing the tradition of delivering a truly authentic Japanese experience
I thank you all again on behalf of my family and I look forward to seeing you soon!
